Market Analysis
With a total daily campus population of nearly 50,000, including approximately 450 visitors, efficient parking and mass transit services are crucial elements in sustaining campus growth and meeting academic goals of the University. The majority of campus users rely on private automobiles to reach their destination point on the campus. In order to manage the size and needs of the various user groups, the Facilities and Services Parking Department maintains approximately 15,000 parking spaces in five parking structures and 123 surface parking lots. Our Parking Department diligently works with the Cities of Champaign and Urbana to provide parking for all who frequent the campus area. (Back to page 1)
