WHY IS THERE A PARKING SHORTAGE ON CAMPUS? Put simply, there is a greater demand for parking than there is space to build parking facilities. New development on campus has not only consumed most available spaces but has also removed several parking lots in the last several years. Shortage of parking is not an issue in all areas of the campus however the central core areas of campus see the worst of the problem.
