The Parking Department provides the following services at no charge for University employees and students within our service area. All you need to do is dial 244-HELP.

Lock Out Service
  • We will unlock your car for you or call a locksmith if you prefer.*

Jump Start
  • We will provide you with jumper cables and guidance in using them*

Flat Tire
  • We will provide air to inflate your tire.

Out of Gas
  • We will provide a safe container to transport gas, along with directions to the nearest gas station.*

Hours of Service:
Dial 244-HELP for the above services anytime from 7:00 a.m.-5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The services are not available on all-campus holidays or at any time the University is closed.

Area of Service:
Services are available at all University buildings and lots within the area surrounded by University Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Curtis Road, and Neil Street. Please note, we do not serve residential street areas surrounding campus (i.e. Chalmers from 1st to 4th street is residential; east of 4th street is served).

Limitations
* No attempt will be made to unlock automatic or electric locking doors; in such instances, a locksmith will be called.
* Parking Department personnel cannot attach jumper cables; however they can provide the tools and instructions to do so.
* Parking is not responsible for purchasing gas.
